This decorative stoneware art was made by pressing the leaf of a sunflower from my garden. It is also functional, and can be used as a trinket dish or tealight holder.
Each piece is handmade and one of a kind. 
Melted glass in the middle of the leaf has created an additional reaction with the glaze. 
Made from the higher quality off white clay and fired twice in an electric kiln.
